Deviled Eggs

For all of you out there that need something to bring this weekend, Deviled Eggs are the ticket! They are extremely easy and I have a feeling some of you might have some hard boiled eggs lying around. Every time I make these (even for non-Easter occasions) they are a hit!

Clearly any hard boiled eggs will work but why not add a little color to them first?! There are so many fun egg dying and decorating tricks out there but I went for the classic egg dying box, you can't go wrong with simple (don't forget to add a little vinegar for extra vibrant color).

You'll need...
1 dozen hard boiled eggs ("How to boil a hard boiled egg" is quite the debate! I used this method)
4 tablespoons of mayonnaise (The real stuff - no Miracle Whip)
2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard (Grey Poupon is my go-to)
Salt and Pepper (freshly ground is preferred)
Paprika
1 gallon size Ziploc bag

Dye those eggs because it's fun! (Just remember you'll have to toss them after 2 hours at room temperature so don't leave them out too long and never leave them in the sun!)
Deviling your eggs:

Step 1: Peel your cooled hard boiled eggs, fine to make them the night before (Again another huge debate is how to peel a hard boiled egg! I think this method is interesting but it did not help me)

Step 2:  Cut the peeled eggs in half long ways

Step 3: Scoop out the yolks and add them to a bowl

Step 4: Add your mayonaise and mustard

Step 5: Start mashing the yolks into the mayonnaise and mustard with a fork until it's creamy (no lumps)

Step 6: Add salt and pepper to your liking

Step 7: Take the Ziploc bag and cut the tip off of the corner (if you have pastry bags lying around feel free to get fancy on this step), add your yolk mixture and start filling your eggs

Step 8: Lightly dust your Deviled Eggs with a little paprika to give them some color

Step 9: Arrange them in a pretty dish and you're ready to go!

Happy Easter!!!
